| The candidates must fulfill the following general criteria:- |
 | Citizen of Malaysia |
| Age at least 17 years old and not more than 23 years old. |
| Obtained straight As in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent. |
| Completed Pre-university/Foundation/Matriculation/ Diploma program and achieved at least 3As for A-Level program or minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Pre-University/ Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma studies. |
| Has secured a placement in selected leading overseas university in the preferred discipline. |
| Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. |
| Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and potential. |
| Actively involved in extra-curricular activities and sports. |
| Applicants must not be a recipient of any other scholarship or award from other organizations/foundations. |
| To provide one surety. |
| Scholarship will be offered to students pursuing the following fields of study recognised by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA):- |
| Business: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics. |
| Engineering and Technology: Engineering, Information Systems, Information and Communication Technology (ICT). |
| Other Banking-related Study: Law, Mathematics, Statistics. |
Upon completion of studies, scholarship recipients will be bonded to serve the Bank for 10 years.
They will have the opportunity to undergo Graduate Development Programme and experience work exposure through internship within the various functions and subsidiaries of the Bank. |
